Airsoft-Barracks.com Signature Regulations

Effective immediately, all signatures MUST be within these regulations.

Why Signature Regulations?
People have been abusing the privilege of a no signature regulation.
Additionally, we've seen signatures up to 400 pixels in height.
Some signatures are larger than a majority of member's posts.

General Rules
Signatures will not contain any hint or speck of racism, culturalism, religion, porn or other adult content, advertising*, advocation of animal shooting, insults, harassment, threats, pyrotechnics, or anything against ASB rules or common sense.

Advertising/External Links
External links to sites are only allowed if they are linking to airsoft reviews or articles.

Blatant advertising is NOT allowed.  Links to other sites are strictly prohibited unless to the following sites:

http://airsoft-barracks.com/
http://www.nashvilleairsoft.com/

Any other site is NOT allowed unless special permission is given or it is linking to a useful article or review.
The term "useful article or review" is up to staff discretion.

Special Permission
Special permission is only granted by filling out this form and messaging it to an administrator.

Your Connection With The Site (Owner/Member/Staff/Etc):

We reserve the right to deny requests or revoke permissions at any time for any reason.  We reserve the right to not disclose this reason to you.

All Images:

Max Width of All Images: 600px
Max Height of All Images: 140px

Posted Image

All images in the signature may not exceed 100KB in file size.

Restrictions are clear and straightforward.  Any violation to the small extent will result in a removal of your signature.

Text:

Minimum Text Font: 7
Maximum Text Font: 20

Lines of Text Allowed With Font Size With an Image...
7: 6
8-10: 5
11-13: 3
14-15: 2
16-20: 1

Lines of Text Allowed With Font Size Without an Image...
7: 12
8-10: 11
11-13: 6
14-15: 4
16-20: 3

A line of text is defined as 600 pixels.  Anything exceeding 600 pixels shall be considered another line of text.

A blank line will equal one line of text.

A quote in a signature will equal 2 lines of text PLUS the amount of lines the quote's content takes up.  Quotes may only be in default font size (10pt).
An example would be this quote:

Quote

Big
Apple
Now
By using a quote, that counts as two lines.  Since the quote is three lines long, you must add three to the total.  This leaves you at 5 lines - the maximum amount of lines allowed with an image.

Violations will be under staff discretion.

Final Words

DEFINITIONS ARE UNDER STAFF DISCRETION.  IF A STAFF MEMBER FEELS YOUR SIGNATURE IS TOO LARGE, THEN IT'S TOO LARGE.
Arguing with staff members on how your signature is within the signature regulations is pointless.  It is just a signature.  Don't make a big deal out of it.

We reserve the right to delete or modify your signature if we feel it is against these regulations.  We also reserve the right NOT to notify you in the instance this happens.  Staff members are busy and cannot notify people in every instance this happens.

+1

I've got one question, there's this great guide on airsoft safety, which is at another site--I'll dig up the link--I was wondering if I could put that in there?

You can put it in... once I see it, I'll review it and make the judgment.
