This thread is for era and soldier type and which military force you're replicating.

I guess I'm replicating a modern British sniper, I use an L96 atleast, and will eventually use a ghillie suit (which did originate in the UK).  Although my sidearm, an Mk23, throws the loadout off a little...oh well.  Plus I tend to think in a British accent, and snipers do think a lot.

Post yours.

1980s United States paratrooper, of the 82nd Airborne Division.
Namely I replicate a certain Sgt. Hartman, who was a crack shot and part of the first cohort unit in the 82nd.

Weapon: M16A2
Role: Rifleman
Gear:
1xPASGT vest
1xPASGT helmet
1xLBE rig(2 canteens, compass, medical kit)

I'm still deciding if i should replicate an actual group, or if I should just do whatever works.  I've always liked the idea of doing an OPFOR loadout.

I have two, both I'm still workingo on, a special forces veitnam loadout, tiger stripe, LBE, and an M14. My other loadout is a 1980s loudout I guess, but I'm 101st airborn, SCREAMING EAGLES!!! Instead of the 82nd...

I guess I'm going for Ghost Squad, but that seems a bit odd.

I recently decicded that i will go for a GROM type loadout. Not the Swat or Seal type loadout, but the Iraqi GROM loudout.

My current loadout is whatever, i carry some stuff that is very effective, but not all that realistic (i dont think)

I don't have an official Militay loadout.

Just a condor Molle vest, Woodland BDUs, Shemag, some boots, and either an M4, an MP5, a G36C, or an AUG.

I usually don't even carrya sidearm...

No specific military unit here. Just Merrell Moabs, 5.11s, a belt kit, and a CQBR.

What do you mean by "Iraqi GROM"? The GROM is the Polish special forces. Or I could be wrong and don't know what you meaqn by GROm type loadout.

What do you mean? ???

If a modern SEAL and a 1997 Army grunt had babies I would look like one of them.

Whoops, i guess that is unclear. You are right about the GROMs, Polish Special Forces. I ment the ones that serve in Iraq that wear Multicam and OD gear (sometimes, usually tan). But my guns are a little off. I have an MP5(k) which is what they usually carry, but in Iraq, them and the rest of the Polish Army all have the good AKs and PKMs

thanks for the encouragement. Luckily for me, they have so many different loadouts with M4s/3color desert/tan PCs or Multicam/AKM/OD pcs or this other desert bdu/m4s/woodland chest rigs. They don't have the best uniformity, but they are awesome. POLSKA!  :)

Picture this...American GI in Nam, raiding a village...with a SCAR...awkward?  Yes.  Bad @$$?  Hells Yes

but seriously, isn't the SCAR sorta blowing the whole Nam thing out of the picture?

Still not as bad as my friend's cousin in his buckskin frontiersman "loadout", with the tomahawk and longknife, but with an AR-15. Acutally, it would look more messed up with a Barret.

I honestly have no idea what the **** my loadout is supposed to imitate. It COULD be PMC, but that's borderline. I have some pictures of my vest/belt thing, and I also will be getting some khakis.

Except the dump pouch will be replaced with a maxped rolly polly, and I need to get some new gloves.

I used to do a pretty good Private Contractor load out, but I have since sold my stuff. I plan on starting from scratch with a TM M733 and a WE 1911. I'll see what I can do with these from there.
