If you don't mind trading a great handgun for a REALLY bad GBBR, then yeah, great trade.

Well, getting a WE POS to replace your KSC glock isn't going to get you money.

WE GBBR's are terrbile. Sears and bolt are cast iron. Gas consumption is poor (especially with the closed bolt version). Imagine their pistols, but on a larger scale, and you have WE GBBR's.

The SOLE exception being their M14.

I thought you wanted to get money, not spend it.

And that still leaves the massive issue of the bolt and sears being made out of cast iron. (Which is bad, jsyk).

Funny, I owned a WE SCAR closed bolt for bout 3mo and never had an issue once I re-seated the hop-up rubber, the SCAR wasn't bad, just wasn't anything special. Now my WE G36 was spectacular, just hated the G36 mag design.

Is it a fiar trade, yes. Should you do it, no. Why, because you are more likely to get cash for your KSC glock. Pretty much everything WE made and closed bolt are no longer desirable.

Funny, I owned a WE KAC PDW for 6 months and the bolt started to fall apart.

If you want a M1911A1? Why are you trading for a SCAR? You think your going to make somethign out of it? You may if you find a newbie that wants a Scar. Like the trader did, in you? Good luck...

You owned a completely different platform and are saying the SCAR will end up the same way?

Either way Gauges hit what I said earleir, you wont be able to flip it for cash easily.

Keep the KSC Glock. I'm with Joker on how the WE is. You won't get much interest for that SCAR... unless they're ignorant of how WE is... But that's a different story.

I'm sure soon enough you could find someone who would rather have a glock over a 1911.

Actually...yes.

There is a guy on the MAA site that wants to trade his TM MEU for a KSC Glock.

As Guges has pointed out, I am actually very interested in trading my TM M1911 M.E.U for a KSC G17. The only stipulations of course are that it be in great and working condition with little/minor or no defects. If you are still interested in trading your G17, please let me know and we can arange something. Not to throw Guges under the bus but im sure he would validate my credability if that is needed at all.

Uh... you're aware that all closed-bolt WE GBBRs (AWSS) use the exact same system and part materials, right?

You can mold a thinly cast potmetal bolt into whatever shape you want it to be, it'll still crack over time. Same with potmetal sears.
