Hi, guys. i'm new but i signed up so I could post this so here it is: I am in the process of building a tank. right now my building team is debating whether we should use a go kart or a lawnmower. our budget is around 150 dollars. we are only thinking of using a lawnmower because it would be free to use because one has been donated. the go kart would be perfect though so if any of you would like to donate... we have plans made, so that's done. all we need now are the materials

If you have a lawnmower, it would probably be best to look up some plans for a lawnmower engine powered go kart. I'd just be concerned about how much torque and general power you'll be able to get if you'll be doing offroad with it... generally something go karts don't excel with. You might have to end up messing with the gear ratios to make sure you'll be able to make it over a hill... at which point you'll be travelling at the proper speed for a WWI tank : P
