I recently bought an item from a user on this site. There was no ad in involved. When I attempted to leave feedback I kept getting this:

[#1] Invalid deal topic

I've tried putting everything in the Deal topic box, but nothing works

If that's the case, you can't leave feedback. We're addressing this issue with BST Section 3.0.

Umm... I never have that problem. I can leave feedback without putting a URL in there.

I don't know what's going on, or I'd help. It just doesn't need it for me.

You could always leave the feedback on his profile page. That's what I do. I leave feedback, and post on his profile.

ASG36c...thats not leaving feedback..leaving feedback is clicking the "leave feedback" button, and leaving feedback.... And i checked to see the feedback youve left, and youve left one, and it DOES have a deal topic.

And yeah, gergify, youre pretty much SoL with this system when you want to leave feedback, it has happened to me quite a few times

PB, I sold him the Item.

May I create an ad, have him give me feedback, and I close it?

Leave it as a profile post and when I bring back the feedback thread we can go from there. The reason that there is a requirement for a URL is to prevent fake feedback.
