I tried to post a topic on the wanted things page, but I wouldn't let me create one. Is that because I have not sold anything on here yet?

That makes no sense at all.
Were you trying to post a thread on Airsoft For Sale [Archive] ?
An archive is like a museum, you can't put new, just made stuff in it.
It is logs of the old WTB/WTT/WTS threads.
There is a new function, the B/S/T. It is the ASB classifieds
You can see it on the top bar next to members. Go there to make a WTS classified.
