In light of the new Airsoft-Barracks Store and the remodeling of our community site, we are holding an Article contest!

What Can Be Entered:

- Reviews (Guns, Gear, Accessories, Batteries, Chargers, etc.)
- Technical Guides
- Buying Guides
- Tactical Guides
- Any other type of guide that would be helpful to an airsofter.

Prizes:
Judges will decide on the Best Overall Article, the Best Review, and the Best Guide. The prizes for these are:

Best Overall Article:
The Best Overall Article is the article that is the best of all submitted, regardless if Review or Guide. The winner will receive a $100 gift card redeemable at Airsoft-Barracks Store.

Best Review:

The Best Review will be awarded to the best review submitted. The winner will receive a $75 or $50 giftcard*. If a review won the Best Overall Article, the runner up will receive this prize.

Best Guide:
The Best Article will be awarded to the best guide submitted. The will will receive a $75 or $50 giftcard*. If a guide won the Best Overall Article, the runner up will receive this prize.

* There is one $75 and $50 gift card available. If the judges determine the review is better than the guide, then the Best Review will receive the giftcard and the Guide will receive $50 giftcard. If the judges determine the guide is better than the review, the Best Guide will receive the $75 giftcard while the Review will receive $50 giftcard.

The gift cards have no cash value and must be redeemed at Airsoft-Barracks Store. These gift cards can be redeemed online after the store goes live or in person at the physical store.

Definately entering this. Few questions though...

1) Can multimple articles be submitted?
2) Can I submit an updated article of one I've already posted on the board?

So how do we submit proof of permission to enter if we're under 18?

Possibly send a written letter of permission from you and your parents to the ASB store. If you win, we will give you the details. :)

I would love to enter, but I don't have any stock guns!
What to do, what to do. Do upgraded classics count? That's all I have nowadays hahaha

Well, like I said, it doesn't have to be reviews!

With what you have there, you could write an article about how classics work, or how to upgrade a classic. :)

Just throwing out ideas. :)

I'd would be happy to look over any drafts of GBB related articles and give comments. I'm not sure if I'm a judge but I do edit and manage a lot of the content around here so I have a good idea of what works and what doesn't.

I MAY move this deadline until the ASB Online Store opens. I DONT have the date for when that happens, do dont ask me. :P But any comments or thoughts from the people participating?

i still don't understand how to submit a review or guide. do i post a new topic named "Airsoft Barracks Contest Submission" or do i email it to one of the forum staff?
