I just redid the Airsoft Weaponry Rules since they were so far out of date it wasn't even funny. The main new thing is a more restricted image size (800x600) to help keep things readable.
Please note that these rules and now active and that they should be read before you post. There is no grace period with these new rules.
That being said, things haven't changed much so it is not a huge deal. This is only a small update in what promises to be a much larger change.
Also, welcome to rws591 who has been added as a new staff member in the section.

Yeah they resize on all of my computers too, and I've never put the settings to do that.

Not sure, but just watching a page load, it seems to me that the full size versions load first, then are resized by the forums. So while the automatic resizing prevents the inconvenience of horizontal scrolling, it's of no use to those with slow internet connections. Resizing by users would resolve both issues.

That's exactly what we are aiming for.
Right now I am working with the other admins to figure out how much we can make the forum automatically do about re-sizing.
The other thing that we will be shortly is put a file size/resolution cap on pictures to help them load faster (that's really the root of the problem).

Could we just make it so that if you don't resize your images you can just put something like, "images not resized" in your title?
